Product Details

The Shimano CL-SL120 cleats, with 2° of freedom of movement, are the highlight of the new SPD-SLR standard. Thanks to the extra-wide platform, you’ll enjoy absolute stability, whilst the flat design ensures that none of your precious watts of power are lost.

The next-generation road cycling shoes from the S-PHYRE series, along with the new DURA-ACE and ULTEGRA pedals and cleats, have been developed as a complete system to enhance efficiency and stability and improve the connection with the bike. With SPD-SLR, every contact point has been redesigned to reduce unnecessary movement whilst improving stability, efficiency and confidence.

• Particularly low profile and no gap between the pedal and cleat for greater stability and better power transfer
• Extra-wide platform for maximum support
• New SPD-SLR interface for a seamless connection between shoe and pedal
• Offers 2 degrees of lateral play whilst maintaining a very stable pedalling platform
• Pedal Compatibility: DURA ACE: PD-R9300, ULTEGRA: PD-R8200
• Note: SPD-SLR cleats have been developed exclusively for SPD-SLR pedals and are not backwards compatible with SPD-SL pedals!

Anyone switching to SPD-SLR pedals will also need the appropriate SPD-SLR cleats. SPD-SL cleats are not compatible with the new SPD-SLR pedals. Shoes with a slotted mounting are compatible with both the old (SPD-SL) and the new (SPD-SLR) cleats and can be used with both the new and old pedals. The grey cleat (CL-SL130) is designed for switching from shoes with a three-hole mounting system to the new system. It offers additional adjustment range, but does not match the low profile and weight advantages of the integrated SPD-SLR cleats.
