The Shimano GRX RX820 is a gravel-specific 1x12-speed groupset with a 42-tooth chainring and mountain bike cassette. The single chainring set-up is suitable for those who like things to be uncomplicated and are looking for an all-purpose crank for exploring, racing, high-speed sections and mountain crossings. 

The 42t chainring paired with the 10-51 tooth cassette is perfect if you love adventures with steep climbs and provides the widest range. The reliability, durability and simplicity with the GRX RX820 just makes every ride that much easier.

With this groupset, Shimano has once again expanded the range of its gravel components to reflect the spirit, individuality, sense of freedom and community of gravel enthusiasts. The groupset also includes a shift lever for the right, a brake lever for the left, the matching rear derailleur, a Quick-Link chain and flat-mount disc brakes.

Additional components needed:

• Cassette compatible with Shimano MicroSpline freehub only (Shimano MTB 12-speed). A Freehub Body change on DT Swiss wheels/hubs or brands using DT freehubs will be compatible. 
• The bottom bracket is not included. Shimano recommends BBR60 or BB72 Pressfit.
• Rotors are not included and will be specific to your bike & wheel spec. Shimano recommends RT-CL800 (140, 160 or 180 mm).
• Brake adapters may be required. Front is supplied with adapter for 140/160mm rotor spec
