The XTR Enduro FC-M9120 is one of the first Shimano cranks with Direct-Mount. More stiffness, less weight and increased user-friendliness are the main advantages of this system. 

It can be equipped with only one chainring (not included) which benefits the performance in enduro races and reduced weight. However, it is quite possible to install two chainrings due to direct mount system. The version with only one chainring can be used in frames with 142 mm and 148 mm installation width thanks to a 52 mm chainline. FC-M9120 of course features Hollowtech II construction, which has been tried and tested for years and which creates an optimum balance between the strength of the crank arms, the stiffness of the axle and the weight.
