A gravel bike shares many similarities with a standard road bike (e.g a drop-bar up front), but also has features that let you ride over many different surfaces. Whilst you can ride comfortably on the road, it is when you exit the tarmac and hit the dirt, that they truly come into their own. Lower gearing, stable handling, wider tyres - it all adds up to an adventure just waiting to happen.
